New investments in transportation are being made in communities across Metro Vancouver to reduce wait times and overcrowding, and extend service hours.

Investments Underway

Investments that are underway but not in the map above include:

  • Increases in HandyDART service

  • New funding for municipal and regional cycling facilities, pedestrian infrastructure, transit priority projects and new mobility projects

  • Restructure of existing bus service and new service in Langley, Maple Ridge, and Pitt Meadows

  • Planning to support potential gondola from Millennium Line to SFU Burnaby Campus, and rapid transit to UBC Point Grey campus
